I recently asked Squarespace if there was a way to add Comments, Like and Share buttons within galleries for individual photos. Apparently, this is not an option at the moment, as they responded by saying they would pass my suggestion on to their developers as a feature request for future consideration.
I am a photographer, and having the ability to have Comments along with Like & Share buttons for individual photos (outside of a Blog) would be a very useful feature. These options are available on other Photo hosting sites (Smugmug, for example).
If you would also like to have Comments, Likes and Share buttons for individual photos, please like this post and/or add a comment to this post on how this feature would be helpful to you.
Perhaps if enough people would like this feature, the developers would make it a priority.
Lastly, if someone knows how to do this (without being a coder/developer), I would appreciate knowing how.
