I have followed the guidance for mapping my domain name to Squarespace.
DNS records changed.
My domain is mapping to Squarespace, however Squarespace still tells me the following:
'This domain is not correctly pointing to Squarespace. You must change these records to point to Squarespace within your domain registrar's interface. Click here for more information.
Please note, if you have recently used our guide to map your custom domain, it can take up to 72 hours for changes to DNS settings to resolve. We found a DNS record for firstintheq.co.uk, but it is not pointing to a redirector service. The correct method for pointing a top-level domain is to create a redirect at your DNS provider pointing to www.firstintheq.co.uk.'
So, what is going on?
