I've been trying to embed one of TripAdvisor's widgets specifically the review one so anyone can post a review straight from the website. I've tried adding it here and it just appears as a bullet point with a link. I'm using the Takk template.
I've already contacted SS customer care and TripAdvisor to get help but neither could get it to work. Here's the embed code:
<div id="TA_ssnarrowcollectreview554" class="TA_ssnarrowcollectreview">
<ul id="TwEB7p" class="TA_links 7CXNhvc">
<li id="JfYBHJejnH4" class="3YfyDxb">Write a review of <a target="_blank" href="http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attraction_Review-g551784-d1008137-Reviews-Pier_Arts_Centre-Stromness_Mainland_Orkney_Islands_Scotland.html">Pier Arts Centre</a></li>
</ul>
</div>
<script src="http://www.jscache.com/wejs?wtype=ssnarrowcollectreview&uniq=554&locationId=1008137&lang=en_UK&border=true"></script>
Here's some comments from interactions with SS and TripAdvisor that might be helpful:
SS: "It's possible the JS file that the code is pulling is not available or the URL is wrong"
TA: "Make sure that the entire code was copied and pasted into site, and did not get transformed when pasting. Check the code from your Widget Center against the Page Source code on your website to make sure there are no differences. Also make sure the code was pasted into HTML section of web editor, and not the visual section.
The entire source of the badge may not be in your page source (it could be missing the script tag, which is what loads the badge into the page) - if you have tried multiple times then it's possible that the software you are using to update your site is removing the script tag. You should look for a way to edit the page source directly to make sure the entire badge code gets in."
Any help at all would be really appreciated!
Thanks Iain
