How can I manually indicate an active menu/navigation link in Takk?

Can the CSS be adjusted so that, for instance, I can have Folder A displayed in an active style while on Page 1 even if Page 1 is not within Folder A?

I remember achieving something like this in Squarespace 5 using this format:

#modulePage10817938 #navigationBottom-moduleLink10817938 {color:#9f0a1e;}

But I'm not quite sure how to apply that in SS6.
