I'm building a portfolio site using the flatiron template. In my index I have a very long list of images/ projects. What I would like to do is link the index's thumbnails, to other pages in my squarespace but ultimately my goal is to not have the thumbnails at the bottom of the projects page.
I thought I could redirect the thumbnails to the project pages using url mapping. However I get an error message saying that you cant map a url that contains a #.
Example: when clicking on the thumbnail the url is page.squarespace.com/#/project Id like to map it to page.squarespace.com/project As in: /#/project -> /project 301
I have also tried doing this with CSS and meta tags. I works when you view the project page/ permalink but not when you view it in the index.
To be blunt, how the hell do I get rid of those project thumbnails at the bottom of the page when I click on a project.
Although I'm new to sqarespace, I'm not new to building websites & I didn't anticipate that Squarespace would be this rigid and complex.
Anyway, I'd really, really appreciate any and all advice or nod in some sort of direction.
