How to highlight navigation item of current page

Hi there,

I'm currently running on the Developers platform and I was wondering how one would go about to highlight the navigation item of the current page you are on? If it's a dropdown menu item, the dropdown list item should be highlighted as well as the main/parent list item tag containing the sub page.
